By rein end of the story I was liking Eve too. Eve was insecure, crabby, sarcastic, surly, and often times outright bitchy, but I found her internal contemplation, constant worrying, and cranky-pants personality genuine and pretty damn funny at times.

The family and friend dynamic. Nolan, Who ever thought something like a man ripping his pants and bearing his delicious rear end to millions of people would lead to something like love?? Spontaneous is NOT in her personal dictionary. Stay in Touch Sign up.

Eve is honest, all the way around. The review must be at least 50 characters long. Nolan throws her a big birthday bash which ends up in them proclaiming their love for each other and getting hitched. She’s a sweetheart under that battle-axe exterior and she cares about people and loves kids, but she’s feelin’ that clock ticking away. She was a bitch quite a few times but in the end she totally won me back.

Perfect For The Beach.

Sabrina — You can absolutely skip books in this series. It certainly solved a cause of a lot of Eve’s anger and made sense even if it was too easy. And I absolutely loved her steamy relationship with her brother Evan’s jackman, sexy Nolan Ford. Jacked Up by Erin McCarthy contemporary romance in a paperback edition on June 5, and has pages.

Eve is a sassy, compulsive and eccentric workaholic who really deserved a break yp it was great to see erjn she changed her life. The humor in this book was the best part, well next to the awesome love story! He’s a glass half-full mccartjy while Eve is panicking over how empty it is. I actually thought this was nice uup honestly, there are drivers everywhere in this series and it was nice to catch a glimpse at the crew that keeps the cars rolling and winning during a race.

Eve and Nolan compete in a demolition derby I was expecting excuses or explanations about why she did the things she did and it turns out that she was just a crazy, rude, obnoxious, cranky, unhappy, unsatisfied woman. All he can think about is how cute he thinks she is. This baby should be out now Eve was severely repressed, curbing her dreams and that would make anyone unhappy but the thing is she was the one doing it to herself. I absolutely loved it.

He makes her remember to be happy every now and then, to relax.

Feb 03, Susan rated it it was amazing Shelves: Overall Jacked Up was a sweet and sexy read. Bad Boys In Black Tie. And jwcked story premise is amusing. She lives in Ohio with her family, two grumpy cats and a socially awkward dog. Somewhere between cocktails and a smoking-hot motel-room derby, it does more than that. One thing I love about this series is that the stories are nothing alike.
